Katherine Tatsuda, Life enthusiast
Hi there! I am Katherine Tatsuda and I am so happy you are here!
Just like you, I wear many hats – I am a single mom of three, business owner/operator, community volunteer, adventurer, puppy & baby goat lover, woman, dreamer & more.
I am currently the COO of my family’s 100+ year old supermarket, Tatsuda’s IGA in Ketchikan, Alaska. I have been fairly successful in the grocery industry, winning multiple national marketing and business awards, but more importantly, I have improved the way we do business and have worked hard to build an engaged and dedicated team but I have a secret to tell you. I don’t love groceries. In fact, grocery shopping is one of my least favorite activities ever.
My dad loves groceries. He loves the process: ordering, buying in on hot prices, stocking, rotate, repeat.
I do not.
I love the people.
I love building a team, empowering each person to realize their potential, developing leaders, and helping people lead better lives, experience improved relationships, overcome the deadly inner critic and limiting beliefs, and thrive in this adventure we call life. That is where my true passion and my strengths lie. And, that is why I started Tatsuda Leadership Consulting Services. I believe that great things can happen when we are equipped with the right knowledge, tools, and support system. Each one of us only has so much time and energy to give to things everyday. It can be hard to make time for change when you are being pulled in so many different directions. I am here to help you re-balance your life load and grow in the areas you want to grow in so you can experience greater professional and personal quality of life.
I know I probably don’t know you but – I believe in your potential and know you have the capacity to reach your goals and live the life of your dreams. Going from where you are now to where you want to be is within your reach. It won’t happen over night but with consistent, intentional action, and the right people cheering you on, you can do it! I just know it.
What does your ideal life adventure look like?
How do you want to feel?
Who do you want to be?
Do you have a plan to get there?
I have asked myself those questions so many times over the years. I know my answers but what are yours?
With love and friendship,
A few things that I love…
